Norrie Celebrates 'Biggest Triumph' Following Fighting Back to Overcome Carlos Alcaraz in the Paris Masters

Cameron Norrie achieved the most notable victory of his professional journey by rallying from a lost first set to overcome top-ranked player Carlos Alcaraz 4-6, 6-3, 6-4 in the early stage of the Paris Masters.

Even though he had previously defeated Alcaraz on two prior meetings, this victory marks Norrie's first ever success over a sitting world No 1.

To secure a triumph like this, it's the greatest win of my career, my initial victory over the world No 1 and probably the most in-form player in the sport right now."

The British player, seeded 31st globally, also stopped Alcaraz's impressive sequence of nine consecutive finals and 17 straight Masters 1000 victories, which represented the top run of results in the young champion's developing career.
