Within the fiercely cutthroat world of gaming, it's typical for fresh competitors to fade away as quickly as they explode onto the scene.

Yet this new installment is hoping to shift that dynamic.

This is the newest release in a long-standing combat FPS line frequently framed as a more authentic alternative to its main competitor.

The title has never quite managed to match its most famous competitor in terms of sales or user base, but evidence points to the recent entry could narrow the difference.

A preview weekend enabling users a opportunity to experience the game not long ago set new benchmarks, and the excitement approaching its release has been immense.

Yet the endeavor is nevertheless a big venture for developer Electronic Arts, which has allegedly invested hundreds of millions of dollars developing it.

Reporters have spoken to some of the makers to find out how they hope it will succeed.

Creation Crew and Developer Cooperation

A total of four studios are creating the title under the collaborative umbrella.

Among them are long-time developer the original team, headquartered in Europe, LA's Motive developers and Ripple Effect in Canada.

Another, the UK studio, is situated in England.

Building On Earlier Errors

"Collaborating with different cultures, varied backgrounds, it's a really interesting environment to be part of daily," he says.

"This whole approach has been a fresh take but additionally really inspiring because we are working with people from internationally."

Concerning the expectation on the team, Fas states: "We feel stress but also it's thrilling.

"We're dealing with a large project. It's probably the largest that most of us have previously been involved in."

Young Developer Adds Fresh View

That's certainly accurate of a minimum of a single team member, VFX specialist the artist.
