Donald Trump Says Peace Plan Isn't 'Final Offer' as Representatives Gather for Geneva Meeting

Ex-leader Donald Trump remarked this past weekend that his Russian-prepared peace plan was "not my final offer", following fierce criticism from Ukrainian leaders and analysts that compared it to the 1938 Munich agreement involving Neville Chamberlain and Hitler.

During brief comments from the White House, the US president informed reporters: Our goal is to achieve peace. It should’ve happened a long time ago … we’re trying to get it ended, in any case we have to get it ended."

Forthcoming Geneva Talks Involve Various Countries

US and Ukrainian officials will meet in Geneva this Sunday for discussions on this proposal. Defense representatives from Germany, France, and the UK will also participate in the talks there.
